14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our service. If you're not satisfied with your Job Search Pass, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. No questions asked.

The Job Search Pass provides 90 days of access, but the refund window is limited to the first 14 days. After 14 days, your access continues for the remainder of the 90-day period, but refunds are no longer available (except where required by law).

This guarantee applies to your first Job Search Pass purchase only. Subsequent purchases (reactivations) are not eligible for refunds under this guarantee.

Your Statutory Rights

This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Australian Consumer Law, UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and EU consumer protection laws. If the Service does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may have additional remedies regardless of time limits stated in this policy.

EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day "cooling-off" period under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This means you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of payment for any reason and receive a full refund.

Our 14-day money-back guarantee aligns with this statutory requirement. EU consumers may exercise either the 14-day statutory right or our 14-day guarantee.

Important for EU Consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Union and you begin using the Service immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that you have requested the Service begin before the end of the 14-day cooling-off period. In such cases, you may still be entitled to a refund, but we may deduct an amount for the services already provided, proportionate to what has been supplied until you informed us of your decision to cancel. Our 14-day money-back guarantee mirrors the statutory cooling-off period, and you may choose to exercise either right.

Where required by law, we will obtain your explicit consent at checkout to begin providing the Service immediately.

Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • You purchased a Job Search Pass for the first time
  • You request the refund within 14 days of your purchase
  • You contact us at support@tryhireflow.com with your refund request
  • You have not previously received a refund for a Job Search Pass

You are NOT eligible for a refund if:

  • More than 14 days have passed since your purchase (except where required by law)
  • You are requesting a refund for a reactivation purchase (only your first purchase is eligible)
  • You have previously received a refund for a Job Search Pass
  • You violated our Terms of Service
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for policy violations

These limitations do not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Preventing Refund Abuse

We offer a generous refund window to build trust, but we also take steps to prevent abuse and protect the service for everyone. We may deny or reverse a refund if we determine, in good faith, that a request is abusive or made in bad faith.

  • Only one refund is permitted per customer (including across multiple accounts or payment methods)
  • Repeated account creation to obtain additional refunds is not allowed
  • Refunds may be denied for accounts suspended for policy violations or fraudulent activity

These measures do not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Free Tier

Hireflow offers a free tier that includes 3 AI-tailored resumes total (lifetime limit), 2 basic resume templates, and first-page-only downloads (PDF and DOCX) with no credit card required. The free tier does not involve any payment, so refunds do not apply. You can use the free tier to try Hireflow before purchasing a Job Search Pass.

Note: The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to your first Job Search Pass purchase, not to the free tier.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 14-day guarantee period:

  1. Send an email to support@tryhireflow.com

    Use the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Email]"

  2. Include the following information:
    • Your account email address
    • Date of your Job Search Pass purchase
    • Brief reason for the refund request (optional but helpful)
  3. Wait for confirmation

    We'll typically process your request within 2-3 business days and send you a confirmation email. Once approved, your refund is typically processed within 3-5 business days.

No questions asked: We don't require you to provide a reason for your refund request. If you're within the 14-day window, we'll process your refund promptly.

Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

What Happens After a Refund

After your refund is processed:

  • Your account is not deleted. Your account will revert to the free tier (3 AI-tailored resumes total, 2 basic templates, first-page-only downloads)
  • Any resumes and data you created during your Job Search Pass period will remain accessible in read-only mode
  • You can continue using the free tier features
  • You may purchase a new Job Search Pass in the future (at the reactivation price), though subsequent purchases are not eligible for the 14-day guarantee
  • If you wish to delete your account entirely, you can do so from Settings → Account or by contacting support@tryhireflow.com

Pass Expiration

The Job Search Pass is a one-time purchase for 90 days of access. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

  • No refunds after 14 days from your purchase date, except where required by law
  • Your pass remains active for the full 90 days regardless of usage
  • You will never be charged automatically
  • After your pass expires, your account will enter Read-Only Mode (you can view but not download or create new content)
  • You can purchase a new Job Search Pass at the reactivation price ($29) to regain full access

Partial Refunds

Except where required by law, we do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds for:

  • Unused portions of your 90-day access period
  • Reactivation purchases (only your first purchase is eligible for the 14-day guarantee)
  • Account suspensions due to Terms of Service violations

Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, we may consider refund requests outside the 14-day window due to:

  • Extended service outages or technical issues on our end that significantly impact your ability to use the Service
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Unauthorized charges or fraudulent activity
  • Other exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion

These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@tryhireflow.com to discuss your situation. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues fairly and promptly.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have an issue with a charge, please contact us directly at support@tryhireflow.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We're committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly, and most concerns can be addressed within 24-48 hours.

Why contact us first? Chargebacks involve fees and administrative burden for both parties. We would rather work with you directly to resolve any issues.

If a chargeback is filed without prior communication, we may temporarily suspend your account pending investigation. Once the dispute is resolved:

  • If the chargeback is found to be valid (e.g., unauthorized transaction), your account will be restored and we will work with you to resolve the issue
  • If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or made in bad faith, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account

We encourage open communication and will always attempt to find a fair resolution before taking any account action.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Material changes to this policy will be communicated via email to users with active Job Search Passes or recent purchases.
